Buttercup, thanks for the review. You are probably right about everything. Heh, probably be good to track down a newb/someone who's never played and ask their opinion. Yes, this would be awesome. I was thinking about some kind of feedback-rating system for all the articles. So you can know which ones require more attention. Is it possible to have such a thing on Wiki? BTW, I always thought NB meant "no brainer". What's it mean? It is Nota bene in Latin. Means note/mark/remember the following well, pay attention to the following. Probably needs point marks between the letters - N.B. Snico, don't forget to add the link to the newbie guide once you're done with your cannibal article. Also, caves could have a separate article about them, not just an entry under Terrain. Putting known maps of dungeons there would help as well.

Made some minor corrections to the article. 1. Everything what Buttercup has said. 2. Reviewed the language and formatting of the Tips for starting out to better suit the tone of the article. 3. Replaced the NB section with an Important warning. Those links at the bottom are not looking that bad either, some of them could be removed but I'll leave them as they are. Things left to do: Preparation: Shartak is a dangerous place. Make sure you have plenty of supplies before venturing too far from your starting location. See the Inventory section for concrete tips. (Tips for starting out) ()This internal link to the inventory section does not work. I have no idea why. ()I still think bringing back the Uber map link at the bottom would be better. Other than that, I think it looks all right.

Thanks Buttercup, I didn't know there was a spreadsheet version of the map! I'll be working on this over the week. How did you find the Caves and Tunnels page on the wiki there? I checked to see what links there and nothing does apparently. I'm gonna merge all this stuff together to make one easy to use page all about this special underground world!
Ahnaom, I will be sure to do that. We need more cannibals, and my cannibal character kept me in the game!
Swarm, Buttercup showed me that page, but I've never seen the last map you have, I'll include that. I will probably do both a section on the Terrain page and revamp the current Caves and Tunnels page so that it includes everything and is linked to by several other pages.

Yes, that last map anthor had given a few people, I'm not sure where he got it from though... Also, http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/7393/megaubermap678.pngBloodclott made it, it has everything except the new trees everyone planted with the agriculture skill and the wildfires. ----------- Snico, on the wiki, you know that blue square on the top right that has lots of links? It had a "caves and tunnels" section on it, but someone deleted all of the links there but a few.

Heh, well here is a little story for you. It involves a guildmaster, a hidden city and the largest amount of fungi juice ever used on one character. Basically we saved up over 1000 fj using a secret city underground (which no-one ever found), buried it in various locations. We then spent 5 days feeding it to Etherdrifter. He then proceeded to map out the caverns completely, barring one thing. He forgot to mark the exits! I took spelunk's map and finished it off. I'll upload it somewhere so others can use it now. It just goes to show you what you can do if you put your mind to it, and have no life. Oh and I think Tracer did some research on fungi find rates, you might want to ask him if he finished it or not. The other tiles all have no finds on them (about 100ap on each). Edit : Here is a link to the full map, my working version of it anyways. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AjtTux-tX08KdFltSGxUYnZ1eE9xTGI4UDFId3VyZ3c&hl=en

Question to the group.
I recently created a Fruit Item page, and was wondering how to proceed with a juices page.
Should I call it a Drinks page, so I could include everything on it? Or should we break it up to have a Juice page and a Drinks page?
Also, what are my color options?

You can probably try any html color code, most of them seem to be OK. I tried 3-4 shades of yellow for the Brewing page, no problems with that.

I'm not sure I see the advantage to having items in tables. Surely it would make more sense to have them in a list? That way they can easily be found in the contents at the top of each page. There would also be more room to expand on what each item does, for example there is no mention that signs can have skulls put on top of them or that they can be made to face in certain directions.

A sign is not technically an item, is it? The only reason why I kept the tables was cause it was there before. I can change it up, let's wait to see what everyone else thinks. Also, I really hate the whole item value thing. Simon seems to like it though, but as one can see here, a majority of the items have no values known.

It might be a good idea to start replacing the $ values with approximate ranges of gold one might get at the trader. That would be really useful.
Tables are good if you have common categories (like price, accuracy, etc.) and also good for comparison. But they are a bit painful to read and navigate.

It might be better to add gold ranges for with and without haggling. If you like I could start working on this with a spare alt?
