Hi all, I have been working on a new PBBG game that is similar to Shintolin/Shartak/NW/UD for the past few months. It has been in alpha testing with a couple dozen players for the past month and today I'm starting to open it up to more players. Lives have been lost to the fury of the war balloons, homes have been destroyed by cavalry mounted upon mechanic steeds, and the lines have been redrawn as the Union and the Confederacy vie for control of the continent. Far to the north, a stalemate has broken out within the Black Hills of the Dakota Territory. Union and Confederate forces have poured into the area, setting up war camps and filling the air with the sound of cannon fire and the smell of brimstone from the tents of their alchemists, but there is yet no victor. - Gather your riches from rivers laced with gold, mountains of ore, or the dark depths of the forest.
- Destroy your enemies as they wait in ambush, and rip the silver purse from their cold, dead corpse.
- Explore your way through uncharted territory and found your own town.
- Build your empire, one saloon at a time.

so...this is in civil war era? and like shartak!?!?! and you get guns??? IM IN!
...10 minutes later
im not sure but that game makes internet explorer not work and makes my comp freeze! oh well...i killed waak before i screwed up when i was trying to move through the lake

im not sure but that game makes internet explorer not work and makes my comp freeze! oh well...i killed waak before i screwed up when i was trying to move through the lake
What version of Internet Explorer are you using? I'll test it and see if anything can be done to improve your experience. |

uh...not really sure? i think im using just regular internet explorer. i havent upgraded to mozilla or internet explorer 8 or safari and stuff like that yet...if the fact that im using verizon internet helps.
i wouldnt be so sure though...
wait! i downloaded google chrome too!
not sure if any of that helps

I just fixed one major issue with Internet Explorer that was causing you to move more than one square at a time, but haven't noticed any severe performance issues yet. I'm going to guess that you're on IE7. Can you go to the Help menu in your browser and click "About Internet Explorer" and tell me what the version number listed there is please? Thanks for helping me track down what sounds like a nasty little issue! PS: It will both work and look better in Chrome. =) I do want to make sure it works fine in IE though. |

Yup, 6.0.6000 means you are currently on IE 6. Unfortunately I don't have plans to support that browser (it is 2, soon to be 3 versions behind and is no longer supported by Microsoft). Did the fix I put in a little while ago help? If not, you'll likely need to use a different browser (such as Chrome) or upgrade to IE7/IE8. Sorry. =( |

You must still have windows XP, correct? IE6 is the default browser for windows XP.
Chnage it to 7 or 8.

oh my god... Google chrome looks so much different! and it even has spell check auto put in!!! crap! it didn't remember all my passwords...this is pretty cool, ill try dealt in lead again now. thanks!

Only 1 account, yes, but like Shartak accounts can have multiple characters. Multiple characters has not yet been unlocked, though. |

You actually don't create an account, when you signed in with one of your existing accounts on the homepage (Facebook, OpenID, Google, etc) it creates a DIL account for you. You don't ever have an username or password though, that is all controlled via whichever provider you chose. |
