The time has come! It's time to organize the greatest social event in Shartak history! The Complete Works of Shakespeare collection has recently washed up on Shartak, and it's time we put it to good use.

In the upcoming...sometime or another, one play from Shakespeare's pen will performed. For a small surcharge of gold, paid to a number of ticket sellers across the island, we will tell you where it is, and what time.

However, there's work to be done! Specifically, we need people to actually do it. We'll probably need something in the realm of ten actors, depending on which play is performed. Also, due to AP limits, it will likely only be possible to perform at most an act of a play, or selected scenes, something like that.

So are you intrigued? Are you willing to help out? Put in your word!

Technically, it's not necessary we do Shakespeare, specifically. But it's good for its ubiquitous. We can decide exactly what to do when we get the people.

I'd be happy to participate, it might be a bit embarrassing to reveal but I've done a little Shakespeare in the park. I've played the role of Banquo in Macbeth and Laertes in Hamlet.

Yes, it's rather funny. It doesn't really have lines... just vague... stuff.

I'd actually buy a ticket for this. In fact, if it gets off the ground, I'd buy a bunch of them. Smiley

You have to play a man, with Shakespeare all the women's roles go to men, that's the tradition and it can't be broken, not even for that guy who plays Captain Picard

How about a woman, playing a man who is playing a woman?

That's because he isn't Kirk, rules would be changed for Shatner.

Were there any male Shakespearean characters who pretended to be women? None spring to mind - plenty of women pretending to be men...
