At the moment, York is overrun with vines and plants, and bodies litter the huts and streets. At the last look there was an elephant roaming about. PM me if you want to help restore York.

Methinks york needs a new foreign policy. One more welcoming to native culture and tradition yet fairhanded as to protect the residents.
In other words it needs a damn miracle.

As king, I welcome natives. I have never had a problem with them, so the new 'foreign' policy would be pointless at best because I have always been against GSUC, who are against natives.

I saw this on ubermap today... York welcomes any peaceful natives. We don't take too kindly to PKers and griefers like Keiichi or hostile cannibals like pH. Simple as that, and we do a damn good job at it. You can fantasise about dystopia all you want, but what's there is there. Oh, and Mr Asmodeus, I wouldn't be talking about shaping government policies when you can't even spend a day in New York without getting kicked in the phylactery by NY representatives. So much for XP-farming laws.

So, you going to native villages and raiding peaceful people is a gesture of saying 'Come on over to York, you are welcome!'?

York welcomes any peaceful natives.
Yeah, after spending maybe an hour or two several squares away from York, Trailblazer (who has literally never so much as punch-IFFd another PC or killed so much as a bat) can certainly attest to that. Perhaps GSUC would like to welcome any peaceful Natives, but since when have you guys ever actually been in York?

Did I say we also don't welcome pedants? I should have mentioned that also.

I'll remember you endorsed such methods in the future and ascertain a counter-tactic. Oh and if you look at my deaths and compare them to john's (who has seemingly fled wiksik) I think you'll find I've died less ^_^

I wouldn't be whining about Akanthor when your side endorsed methods much more egregious and tried to cover it up after its fiasco, but we can all see where you're coming from, 'dribbler, and it's getting old. *yawn* Oh and if you look at my deaths and compare them to john's (who has seemingly fled wiksik) I think you'll find I've died less ^_^ You've also killed much less, it seems, but then again you were hiding in SS like a scared schoolgirl for a month or so.

Dang, this is the perfect chance to prove that you have no idea what the word "pedant" actually means, but I can't think of a way to do it without citing the dictionary definition to do so, which would kinda defeat the point. @%@%...

Heh heh, this topic implies York was once a bastion of civilisation.
It's difficult to fall into ruin when there's nothing to fall from.

Clearly you missed the part where no one was killed within York for a few days.
Keiichi or myself? And impossible for no-one to not get killed in York for a few days, that's like a Shartak equivilant of division by zero.

it was during the winter of 2008.
'07-'08? I don't recall anything like the game going offline around then either, though...
