Hi. I helped in the recent raid on the 'Acta Sanctorum' stronghold. It was fun Grin

Not that I could do much! My character is absolutely useless at harming angels and such... for the moment Wink

By the way, I also play Urban Dead. Here's my profile, in case you see me: http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=496744

Say hi if you see me.. I'm on about once every couple of months due to being busy with a certain other game most of the time.

Does Kevan play Shartak? If he does, do you know his profile?

Very interesting.
He doesn't seem to be really active, though

Yes. I played the trial and never got around to exploring a subscription or whatever. If I'm not paying bills, I'm drinking like a pirate

Anyways... I liked it a lot

Played a few free MMORPGS now. I enjoy the metagame communities the best. Thats why i stayed with Shartak.

Never tried Eve Online or Anarchy Online. Might try those. We will see if time permits.

Shartak (no pepper?), Urban Dead (Mill Wilkinson), Renaissance Kingdoms, Monstersgame, cybernations(hate the game), gladiatus, KoL. That's about it. Almost all of these have a character named "Mill Wilkinson".

Mill Wilkinson - Police and a hunter
Matt Wilkinson - Utility Banker in Durham
Cannibal Cook - Rakmogaki who loves outsider meat
The mastermind behind these three - a proud coffeejunkie

So that's where you were!

cybernations(hate the game)

Then why do you play it?

Anyway, I recently started playing Hell Rising as a zombie.
It's a lot like that-certain-other-game-that-for-some-reason-I-can't-mention, as there are zombies, square suburbs, and the communities are also quite similar
The big difference is that there are also vampires, and you get 15 Ap each hour, so you can do a lot everyday
I'm in Fort Howard now, enjoying the brains lolz

Hmm. Been in Renaissance Kingdoms a few months too, but I still don't know why I bother. Ever since it became clear that starting an anti-religious cult wasnt really an option, even if I really pushed what would be possible a lot, all I've gotten is a bit of land and an in-game depression.

What else could have changed on that front for me... Still active with KoL. Uncertain why I also bother with another game in particular, but I've maxxed out an island in "Inselkampf", but have refused to attack or take any sides in the warfare involved in that game ever, instead just sitting with always-growing independant forces on my own on an island apart from it all.
Otherwise just Puzzle Pirates from time to time for me, since I make one hell of pirate when I put my puzzling abilities to the test.

I have recently started playing a pair of Nation-building simulators.

Nation States began life as a promotional tool for a novel. It's not terribly complex - the meat of the gameplay involves choosing stances on various political and social issues. How you vote will effect your nation's economy, its civil rights  and its political freedoms. Some of your choices can lead to unexpected outcomes. For example:

Cyber Nations is more complicated and incorporates trade and warfare. My fledgling nation is only a few days old and I am currently building up its infrastructure.
