It was written in Brittania Runic Script, from the Ultima Series of games... of which the Avatar comes from.

I read it as elder futhark and futhorc and that worked well also, except of the initials, this type of "J" wasn't included

For Calliope... Sorry if I posted the answer too early. Do not worry though, there will be more clues. In fact, they get harder from here out. I under estimated how brilliant you lot are. I'm revising up the difficulty level. Tongue

And you shouldn't post the answers.

JD is Jace Daskull, I assume.

Or rather know.

Jace Daskull is from Raktam as well and he seems rather.....eccentric? Yes, active as well.

This is the guy without a doubt.

The flight was heavenly
the sky my ocean
As I soared beyond the clouds
and golden voices called me home
You asked "Do you believe in love?"
and I shook my head
So, your sins unto me as I fall down
never to return from this land
My wings are clipped, my voice stilled,
Goodbye.

Anthor, you should post the solutions (or let an avid competitor post it all) after the competition is over, but definitely not now.

Quest... JD has been threatened into helping the Kidnapper. He is afraid of what might happen if he doesn't go along with him, and has seen something horrific that makes his fear more concrete.

Keiichi... Good guess, but no.

CJ... I should have guessed it came from somewhere else other than just the Ultima game series. Like you mentioned, and Killy also... other than the J, everything else is similar to other runic scripts out there. Which made it easier for you lot. Tongue

Neil & Calliope... I will keep the remaining clue answers secret for longer. It's still anyone's game.

iwashere... I'm gonna git you for that nananana sex chat comment. Just watch yer back, mate. Tongue

Edit- Yeah, Killy... I'll wait until later on the solution. There are are still more clues, and it gets tougher from here out.

Four people have gained the second clue so far. Dun Dun Dun!

To keep the competition going... I will post the second clue on here over the weekend. That way, anyone who hasn't made it to 'erby yet, still has a chance to do so. I won't post any more clue answers until the end of the contest.

Lastly, the JD character will be auctioned off after the contest... with the price being a donation to Shartak, the donation should be made directly to Shartak (not through me) and I will be making no money from the auction. More on that later.

JD has been assaulted to the point of near death, in Derby. I'd suggest if you want to talk to him, you do so soon. It's a violent violent world we live in! Tongue That said I'm off to bed, so it'll be later in the day before he'll talk again. Tomorrow I will be posting the 2nd clue.

I may have accidently punched JD to death.

Since when is someone on 19hp the most wounded when there's someone standing next to him on 2hp?

Dang it, why do I always seem to get some issue in real life or find myself tangled up on the other side of the island whenever a contest starts?
I finally managed to get online after all that time and Anthor had already posted the first clue... and I still haven't even finished with gathering up ammo thanks to not being on for a few days. I should still be able to get the second clue by... probably Friday knowing my luck.  Tongue  or really, if I don't get it by then I'll probably never get it, from somebody finding Anthor or something else. Well, I'll try anyway...

Violent means...

Judge Dredd, an innocent victim in the Kidnapping of Anthor, has been violently beaten to death in Derby. As is the savageness of life on this island.

On his body was found the following note, written in blood:

Wait, exactly how many clues are we going to get written in a different weird code-thing each time? >_>

Tom... you get to be the person now known to have killed Judge Dredd (we'll go for a charge of involuntary manslaughter!) Tongue

Thanks Quest! Tongue

Alexander... only 2 more after this one.

[Unforseen Circumstance #2] - The character at the end of clue two does not have native language skills, therefore he cannot understand anything said to him in the native language. This does not preclude natives without outsider language skills from gaining the third clue from him, but just understand that he will not be able to respond to your questions as he cannot understand them. You are welcome to post questions here, or PM me with questions if you want them to be private... but only if your character is in the same location as my character (ie. I can see you in the location).
