Ha ha, yep, and stupidly I did a screen shot with the spell check lines still underneath! And for CJ... no, JD is not the kidnapper.

ManBearPig does not understand the strange writing on the note (or any writing for that matter) but with his superior tracking capabilities, he vows to find "Angor."

Ah well. My little escapade has secured me all types of bookmarked alphabets. As for the clue and stuff, I have my own devious plan for this thing. It may or may not involve following someone who is actually finding these things out. as for Anthor, Urbandictionary defines another, but cooler. Made during a Gay cyber sex chat
not sure how much that helps out.

Some interesting misspellings.
Also, why do we have to kill the executioner? Does the Kingdom of Skulls not negotiate with terrorists?

Ah but what weapon was used, DoomGuy! Quest, if your character is a complete pacifist and has not killed anyone... and you're the first one to find Anthor... [RULE ADDITION] I will make an exception to the rules to allow any pacifist to compete in the competition. Instead of killing the Kidnapper, you will be required to talk the Kidnapper into giving up peacefully. (The Kingdom of Skulls does not negotiate with terrorists. I have learned from previous diplomatic efforts that it's a waste of time and energy... of course, it may not be the KOS that finds Anthor... so it's open to everyone, pacifists included) And lastly, I should have IP hits available again in about 24mins... so JD will be able to talk again then. The 2nd clue will be given by JD dependent on what methods are used to gain the clue. For everyone else, I will post the 2nd clue on the forum later... to give those who find it in-game the head start that they deserve for actually following the clue.

I suspect someone will locate Anthor before I can make my way to the rendezvous point. Congratulations to whomever you are!
I'm curious where "JD" came from. I haven't seen the character ostensibly used for "J" anywhere in my studies, although it has been mentioned that this is a derived language.

JD has IP hits again... so the contest continues... I will let you all know though that someone has managed to get the 2nd clue out of JD... so you better get to JD as quickly as possible. For those that cannot get that far... I will post the 2nd clue on here after giving those who did make it to JD and figured out the 2nd clue... a head start.
And for anyone that hasn't figured out the first clue yet... here it is...
Clue 1 decrypted:
send one thousand gold coins to jd in erby or anthor will never be seen again. at least, intact.
It was written in Brittania Runic Script, from the Ultima Series of games... of which the Avatar comes from.
EDIT- JD has gone to sleep and will return either tonight (PST) or in the morning. Line up any questions you have for him, and I will answer when I return.

I won't be able to make it into Derby until tomorrow, at least. If we can ask questions from the forum, I'd like to know what this "JD" has to do with the kidnapping of the sovereign, reigning monarch of the Kingdom of Skulls. He can't think it a reasonable course of action to put himself on the wrong side of someone like Anthor.

For Calliope... Sorry if I posted the answer too early. Do not worry though, there will be more clues. In fact, they get harder from here out. I under estimated how brilliant you lot are. I'm revising up the difficulty level.
