I vote for deus.
Also, don't you think bailing out on one of the largest and currently most active clans in the game, without even planning on telling them, is something of a dick move? Do you really have that little regard for the people you encouraged to spend time and effort on the idea? Not cool guys.

Being that I am apparently in charge, I will divide leadership among active Ministers of The Peninsula Federation equally. I think this is the best possible action to be taken, so that no one person's opinion or idea reigns supreme.
Since Pershing is seemingly unable to lead, it would seem that only me and deus are the only other active Ministers. If deus accepts, then it shall be done.
What say you Deus?

I will only agree if you agree to join me in introducing radical Reform to the PF that will benefit it and Derby.

Last words of Black Jack Pershing to Ash on Midway. Black Jack Pershing staggers in from the beach, blood gushing from a fatal wound. (2010-11-01 08:21) Black Jack Pershing says “I'm afraid I'm mortally wounded. There's no coming back for me from this. Tracer, I'm going to give you some of my kit to pass along to my old friend Ibn al Xuffasch. Will you do that for me?” with a slight accent. (2010-11-01 08:24) Black Jack Pershing says “Ash, looks like you'll need to parlay with some other Federation official. Uther is next in line. You'll need to talk to him.” with a slight accent. (2010-11-01 08:26) Black Jack Pershing says “... actually, maybe I'll see Derby again before I die. Sorry, Tracer, its the end of the line for me: I'll pay a mercenary pirate called FirstAmongstDaves to look after you for the next few months...” with a slight accent. (2010-11-01 08:28) Black Jack Pershing says “Long live the Federation!” with a slight accent. (2010-11-01 08:29) Black Jack Pershing gasps for ragged breath and stumbles out of the tower towards the beach. (2010-11-01 08:29)

And so Government Reform begins.I don't think The Peninsula Federation should have one sole leader. I think the Ministers of the Peninsula Federation should lead the clan as equals, making any important decisions and whatnot through discussion with each other. If Pershing, deus, 007 warbear (should he reappear,) Grant Beacher's Ghost, and myself would be willing to share leadership amongst ourselves as equals.
I believe Uther it is time to reform the PF and make it a true Federation like the governments of of the Past. I believe that the PF should not be one single clan but composed of other groups who only care about the benefit and well being of Derby and are equally represented in a town council. The current system has shown it's weakness it is time for reform. Rather than have the PF be one group leading Derby it should be composed of several groups united in Derby's Defence. Then I suggest that we open our door to The Misfits. They deserve a say in what goes on in Derby as well. Any and all people of Derby deserve to decide what Derby's best interest is. An alliance with all Derby groups, ruling as equals. Fare thee well Black Jack Pershing. The Federation will not fall. It has been a great honor serving with you.

Good luck holding it together. As tempting as it is to rush in and kick you all while you're down, I'll likely be pulling back and letting you guys get it together. I think the whole thing's been kinda ridiculous, but nice to see some still got the stones to keep it going. Hopefully something can be worked out that doesn't force the rest of us on the island to demonize the entire peninsula.

I call for a motion to have the island south of Derby to be renamed Black Jack Isle in honor of our late leader, all those in favor.

I third it, I know I'm not really involved in Derby's personal affairs, but I support the idea, Black Jack Pershing showed courage, never faltering when I've seen him.

Not superhappy about re-naming Casterley Rock, although I appreciate the thought. Pershing Tower will remain in existence for the duration. I vote for deus.

Nope. Others can step up if they want the concept to work - like Deus, which is great. That fact that it is active means that others will become involved and carry on. I did the same thing with the Royal Court (and am trying the same thing with Dalpok, with much less success). If you can build an institution properly, it'll last.

As a native, I'd rather you sit on your own throne and actually do something in the name of Dalpok instead of creating tons of clans that you don't have time to run and then hoping somebody might take them over. Not that you can go about slaughtering pirates with your another alt sitting in the wreck which is cleaning out all the natives in the vicinity. And not that FAD can storm into Dalpok and make some decent mayhem there. And now that you have the bird in the Court, attacking it is also a bit on the grey alt separation side.
I don't get this style of play, frankly. And it's a waste because you could rally people and make Dalpok a new Sparta of Shartak.

Blackjack Spring. The point where the river starts that runs through the swamps to the sea. As I recall, he and I had some decent hunting in that area over the years.
