I have four of them, and I fail to see what they do, so one less won't hurt.

Buy yourself a shovel at the trader's too, it's worth it. I've been burying my rum around the wreck. Tongue

I'm at the trader's now, I'll be online for at least another 3 hours from now, so I'll just go and deposit it in 2 hours, alright?

Actually, I don't think anyone knows for sure what they do.  We've speculated a good deal, but nothing is proven to my knowledge.  Simon hasn't said, which is good, since that would completely take the fun out of it.

Regarding your comment about the community: I can't speak for UD, but yes, we've got a great community here on Shartak.

Yeah, that's how I got rich and bought Dalpok. Weeks of harvesting gems.

Profile ID is 1738.

I have 9 shovels. Tongue

1 Charm in stock now, if this doesn't work (IE, someone beats you to it) Just buy a shovel and I'll bury another nearby.

call it a token of good will then Tongue

I will say this, all them pirates by the river... you guys got it easy to lvl up. you already have the most HP, and basically impossible to kill in 1 attack, though I've never attacked one with more than 60 AP

See, I just LOVE the pirates by the river.  I used to attack them with my Pirate Hunter.  I'd wait in the deep jungle, wander in, kill one, then dart back into the jungle.  Of course, as an outsider, I could always find the ones with the lowest HP.

Despite camping that river for a couple of weeks, I never realised my dream of finding a pirate with only a handful of HP left after drinking so much salt water

For future reference and to anyone else interested, my Durham Scientist (non-combatant) has stumbled across 4 tiger-tooth amulets.  I am willing to trade one for a personal non-agression pact - just don't attack me later.

I have. a nobleman killed about 20 of them over a period of a few weeks, always someone under 50 HP. Very easy targets. Also, stragglers around the shipwreck. Anyone under 30 HP is worth attacking, you're guaranteed to get 3 kills a day if you know where to look. It's just too easy. It got boring, so I retired my PKer.

The problem is that natives can't see outsider HP (has anyone proposed that as a skill idea, by the way?)

I can see it now...
