Outside the Kingdom of Skulls Throne Room

Etherdrifter approaches the hut with his ever present grin.
Etherdrifter says “It seems that quite a few look forward to the opening of this place...”
Etherdrifter chuckles, his voice sounding like the grinding of tombstones
Etherdrifter coughs in a buisiness like manner, obviously a habit from his time amongst the living
Etherdrifter says “Before the ritual begins I will need the patches 2N and 2E of here cleared of all jungle.”
SofaKing nods to Etherdrifter. 'It is cut.'
SofaKing looks cooly at Cheesesteak. 'What about Raktam? We are here to celebrate the rejuvenation of the Kingdom of Skulls."
Etherdrifter says “My thanks... I must gather some items for the ritual now... I will return soon.”
Etherdrifter says “For this ritual I will also need some driftwood for my totems. 8 pieces should suffice.”
Boswald Leopold III bounces around trying to hold in his excitement… “Ooo this will be fun!” …Wide eyed he hasn’t a clue what’s going on but wants to help… “here! I have 2 pieces”
Boswald Leopold III is delighted in his impeccable timing. To rise out of the tunnels @ this moment of time to be in his first “on top” party.. “no rats tonight.. heeheehee”
SofaKing says “Welcome to the overworld, Boswald.”
You hear SofaKing whisper “Thank you for the kind gift. Is there anything I can do in return?”
Boswald Leopold III notices some staring @ him… “What!? I’m a white cannibal!.. it’s not my fault… you try growing up in cannibal school w/the name Boswald Leopold III...” Feeling uncomfortable he hides in the crowd.
Boswald Leopold III says “thank you.." Quickly puts the herbs in the worn sack around his neck.. he moves closer to the friendly giant warrior.”
Black Fang says “When does the pub open then, hmmm?”
Flying Squirrel approaches the group, keeping a nervous distance from Rachel's snake. "Rachel, you don't half scrub up well! I didn't miss the party did I?"
Flying Squirrel looks even more nervously at Etherdrifter, then gazes off into the spirit realm. "Hi there, mister spirit. Exorcist? Who, me? You must be mistaken..."
Etherdrifter grins looking at the spirit
Etherdrifter says “Very soon now...”

The Avatar returns from the War in Raktam, with his friends and allies.

Boswald Leopold III returning w/feathers still in mouth looks around at the growing crowd.. his chewing annoys some close by. “sorry.. good parrot.. my bad”
Crazy Ian says “Ethrarfor ING cu fornuhlunyun puth for thi juhhum zithbar! 5 gerlun cunuh rarhum?” with a slight accent.
Anthor appears as if from nowhere, in front of everyone, his cloak flapping in the breeze
You say “My friends, I have returned from afar, from Raktam where the war continues”
Anthor looks wearied from his travels, but his eyes are bright
Wulla-mullung says “This seal is a remarkable bit of sorcery, Etherdrifter. Might I ask how you accomplished it?”
You say “I have returned with my friends and fellow travelers to return the lost skulls of the ancients to their rightful place”
Anthor looks across the tired faces, but sees some smiles.
You say “Three of the four skulls were found over the last few weeks. The final skull is here. Right in front of the Throne Room!”
Anthor asks Rachel for a shovel and starts digging
You dig a hole with your shovel.
You have a look around and find the fourth skull of the ancients!
SofaKing says “Oh Ether, that reminds me. I owed you a skull. ”
You hold up the creepy skull so it can be admired.
You say “The skulls has been found!”

The Ritual Begins

Etherdrifter grins and motions everyone to silence. His eyes glowing a deep blue, he fixes anthor with a long dead stare.
Etherdrifter says “Then let us begin...”
Cheesesteak says “You are more concerned with the affairs of your neighbors while your subjects are slaughtered mercilessly in their own villages, SofaKing? Ancestors forbid Wiksik ends up with a ruler who cannot”
Cheesesteak says “prioritize.”
Etherdrifter says “Hand me the skulls avatar.”
Cheesesteak says “Oh, and Black Fang's back if anyone's concerned.”
Anthor collects two skulls from Rachel and hands them to Etherdrifter
You say “Thank you Rachel, your help has been most important to our quest.”
Anthor pulls out the third skull from his cloak, and then hands it and the fourth skull to Etherdrifter.
You say “These are the lost skulls of the ancients, I'm sure you will handle them with care.”
Golgul says “yes... I sense Black Fang's spirit is among us here...”
You say “SofaKing is here by my request, CheeseSteak. He is my Blood Brother, and is welcome in our midst”
Etherdrifter grins as he accepts the skulls, taking each one and handing them to the waiting Sillylilypily
Anthor honors Black Fang's presence
Etherdrifter says “Now for your part my apprentice...”
Etherdrifter pulls out a 5th skull from his robes and hands it to her.
Etherdrifter says “Erect the totems as I have told you...”
SillyLilyPily bows to Etherdrifter and scurries off

The Enchantress erects the totems

You then proceed to add 1 skull to the signpost.
Fashioning a rough sign out of a couple of pieces of driftwood, you stick it into the ground and carve  IGNUS  onto it.

The totems arise surrounding the Throne Room

Etherdrifter bends down and draws a circle on the floor with a 5-pointed star within, the star points north...
Etherdrifter looks to the north as the first totem rises
Twiglet looks to the north and sees a skull on a post that wasn't there a few minutes ago.
Anthor follows where they are looking.
Etherdrifter looks to the west as the second totem rises
Etherdrifter looks to the east as the third totem rises
Anthor feels a prickling at the back of his neck, as if there are multiple spirits around. The wind starts blowing suddenly.
Etherdrifter looks to the south east as the fourth totem rises
Etherdrifter carves something onto the side of a hut.
Etherdrifter scratches out what was carved on the side of a hut.
Etherdrifter looks to the south west as the fifth and final totem rises
SillyLilyPily says “Master, it has been done.”
SofaKing bows his head to the superior sorcery of the necromancer.
Etherdrifter begins to chant, his tombstone voice booming out every word, each burning into the minds of all around before vanishing from memory
Etherdrifter raises his right hands and points his index finger at anthor

The Avatar enters a transcendental state

Anthor reads in a hushed voice, from the writing that has just appeared on the side of the Throne Room: "Ignus, Aqua, Aether, Terra, Mortus"
Anthor sees a magic circle drawn on the floor with the words "Ni Muni Hastu" inside it
Anthor falls to his knees into a trance state, his cloak starts glowing with a blue emanation
Anthor 's eyes turn completely black, his mouth opens and words come out in another voice and language

Anthor collapses to his knees, his brow furrowed with pain
Etherdrifter carves something onto the side of a hut.

SofaKing moves to Anthor's side, clasping an arm around his side and lifting him to his feet.
Etherdrifter looks up from his chanting and barks out an incantation
Etherdrifter says “Ego imperium vos antiquus caputs ut tribuo mihi ops victum phasmatis intus!”
Etherdrifter raises his hands to the sky and plunges them into the earth, sending a wave through the ground at the throne room.
Etherdrifter chants on as the screams of thousands of disembodied spirits erupt from the throne room.
Anthor starts chanting again in tongues
Etherdrifter carves something onto the side of a hut.
Etherdrifter scratches out what was carved on the side of a hut.
You say “O ignis Spiritus Paracliti O ignis Spiritus Paracliti”
You say “vita vite omnis creature”
You say “sanctus es vivificando formas”
You say “Custodi eos”
You say “qui carcerati sunt ab inimico”
You say “et solve ligatos”

You say “Darkness disperse. By the Holy Light of the Ancients, I command thee. Disperse this Age of Darkness, and Bring in the Age of Enlightenment!”
Anthor gains strength, looking fiercely towards the Throne Room entrance.

Etherdrifter looks north and chants the word "Ignus", the totem to the north flares a bright red
Etherdrifter looks to the west and chants the word "Aqua", the totem to the west glows a deep blue
Etherdrifter looks up and curses a little before continuing
Etherdrifter looks to the east and chants the word "Aether" and the totem to the east flares white
Etherdrifter looks to the south east and chants the word "Terra" and the totem to the south east flares a bright yellow
Etherdrifter looks to the south west and chants the word "Mortus" and the totem to the south west flares deep purple
Etherdrifter places a hand on anthor's shoulder
You say “Ad meus legitimus gestus as dominus meus imperium tu ad patens ille porta a fronte ex meus”
Etherdrifter forces the spirit of fang into Anthor's body to fuel the spell
Anthor looks towards the door
Etherdrifter smiles as the doors open outwards

A Traitor Exorcises Black Fang's Spirit!

Hexoatl performs a successful exorcism ritual and casts 1 spirit away from here.
Etherdrifter points a finger at Hexoatl and utters a death spell at his retreating figure

The Throne Room is Reopened & A Traitor is Chased

You say “Friends, enter with me. The Throne Room is ours. We shall celebrate the banishment of the Darkness. Come! Join me!”
Etherdrifter grins
You climb inside.
Cheesesteak says “Greetings, Etherdrifter.”

Etherdrifter enters and takes up his seat in the shadows once more
Anthor sits upon the Skull Throne, taking his rightful place
The ghostly voice of Black Fang says “Would someone please kill Hexoatl NOW before he summons / exorcises me again?”

You say “I'll get him, where is he?”
Anthor welcomes his friends in. Let's drink. Be Merry. We have a lot to celebrate! It's the start of a new era!
Golgul says “May the spirits of our Ancestors rejoice at this auspicious day!”

The Enchantress executes the Traitor

SillyLilyPily slips from the throne room to kill

Black Fang is avenged, and the Party Begins

Anthor nods to the spirit of Black Fang
Etherdrifter says “Such magic is exhausting though... Even for the dead...”
You say “Hexoatl is now dead by the sword of our beautiful SillyLilyPily”
SillyLilyPily enters the throne room tall and proud.
Twiglet says “Party!! ”
Cheesesteak says “Erm, why did you kill Hexoatl?”
SillyLilyPily tosses the freshly cleaned skull of Hexoatl into the air, spinning as it soars
You say “For daring to exorcise the spirit of Black Fang during our ceremony”
Cheesesteak says “Ah.”
You say “That was an offense against the Ancients”
Cheesesteak says “Indeed it was.”
SillyLilyPily points her finger towards the spinning vessel and it explodes into tiny crystals, showering all below with faceted gems
Etherdrifter picks a gem out of the air and pockets it
Anthor calls for the dancers to come out and perform for the throne
Etherdrifter pulls out a bottle of wine and begins to drink it, sadly the wine goes right through him

The Avatar is possessed by the spirit of Black Fang

You feel an unknown force take control of your body. Anthor sits back and rests his brooding chin on his fist. He grunts for rum to be brought forth.
Anthor starts acting very strangely.
SillyLilyPily rushes rum to Anthor and kneels at his feet
SillyLilyPily gives you a gourd of tasty berry juice.
You feel an unknown force take control of your body. Anthor hesitantly reaches out a hand to stroke SLP's hair. He smiles a strange, feral smile.
Anthor starts acting very strangely.

SillyLilyPily feels shivers running down her spine, and looks deep into the Avatar's eyes

Hastur says “What? I thought there was going to be some redecorating done during the closure. Where's the leopard prints? The outrageously expensive fountain of blood?”
You feel an unknown force take control of your body. You say “Give this shaman your loyalty. remain true to the purpose of the Kingdom, a homeland for all natives. Adhere to this principal and you will flourish.”
Anthor starts acting very strangely.
Hastur smirks, and you realise he's joking. Or at least you hope he is. Fountain of blood?
You feel an unknown force take control of your body. Anthor laughs. "Aaah, He Who Is Not To Be Named. The coffers of the Kingdom seem to have been emptied."
Anthor starts acting very strangely.
You feel an unknown force take control of your body. You say “A fountain of blood would be most pleasing. Sadly, I see no barbecued outsider fingers amongst the feast food.”
You feel an unknown force take control of your body. You say “Succession... such a strange notion. No heirs did I produce, and my brother remained a phantom in Rakmogak. So now I name this Avatar the new ruler of the Kingdom of Skulls. I charge you to”
Anthor starts acting very strangely.
You feel an unknown force take control of your body. You say “find my brother and groom him in the ways of honourable natives. Impress upon him that he is next in line to the Throne and should give this Avatar his support and his life.”
Anthor starts acting very strangely.
You feel an unknown force take control of your body. You say “And now I must continue my Mystery Walk. The Ancestors have tasks unfulfilled that I must undertake. Look for me in the night, in the lonely places. Know that I will be hunting those who stray.”
Anthor starts acting very strangely.
The spectral figure of Black Fang floats up from Anthor's body and gives a doom-laden laugh. "MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
You hear Black Fang let out a shocking shriek coming from all around you, and lose 2 HP from fear.
Lifelover kneels before the spirit of Black Fang and offers what small services he can offer.

Etherdrifter drifts out of the hut quietly, returning to his studies
Cheesesteak steps out and follows Etherdrifter...

Anthor says “I thank all my friends for their constant support during the war with GSUC, the Skull Hunt, and the Darkness that has now gone from our land.”
Anthor says “SofaKing, my Blood Brother. You are welcome to stay with us for as long as you'd like. Come enjoy the festivities. We shall need to talk privately later about the war.”

The Avatar, Anthor, wishes to give thanks to the Ancient Ones for all the blessings they have bestowed. As the children of the Lost Kingdom of Shartak again have a leader in the Avatar, Anthor gives thanks to all his people. He is now conducting audiences in the Kingdom of Skulls Throne Room in Wiksik.

Anthor grins widely as he spots Bahl hiding like a coward in the jungle.

Anthor walks in carrying the head of the terrorist leader Bahl. This is what happens to traitors and merchants of death in Wiksik. We will stand no longer for the oppression of GSUC and they're hangers

You say “And as for you, Black Plague. Take your diseases and leave our village alone. You are not welcome here.”

It has come to our attention that you are showing signs of recalcitrance in regards to Wiksiki people's integration into the State of New York. The Governor, John, informs me that since your defeat at the hands of the Coalition in October, you have been plotting with Raktam to overthrow the Greater York Federation. This is not acceptable. As a protectorate of York, New York's population is expected to share York ideals, adhere to York values and eat York food. Continue with the murdering of your administrators, and you will have dug your own grave.

On a further note, Coalition scouts report of several hostiles from the native villages trespassing on Greater Yorker lands. You will tell these individuals to disengage their surreptitious activities in the Greater York territories or face immediate and dire consequences.

Be aware that if your band of upstarts and royalists continue with this delinquent behaviour, they will have to be strictly disciplined, as we have done before in the past two months.

*Its been a late night and DLC has been out drinking again, sadly he takes a wrong turn in an allyway and finds himself face to face with one of the 'mouths' of Etherdrifter.  It begins to speak in the voice of the ancient Arch-Lich*

A lesser medium "governor" of Wiksik?  Well I suppose his daily deaths do add to the economy in general, if only to provide training for junior guild members.  Other than that I'm afraid we have no use for poorly trained PKers in out rulership.  We tolerate KOS since they have proven their mettle in both diplomacy and combat as well as their good intentions.  So far your "governor" has only succeeded in providing skulls for my Mirmirs and attacking those it deems to weak to retaliate.

As for your supposed punishment...  What can you do?  You could grief a shaman for weeks at a time, though something tells me that the powers that be might not be so forgiving this time round.  You could kill us.  Those of the guild spend as much time dead as alive anyway though, its getting to the point where we just prod a GSUC member with a dagger till they get the hint when we need ferrying.  You could try slander, doubt it would work though.

So try and enforce your laws on us, you will soon realise that *my* domain is not just a place, but anywhere there is a spirit.  We may move to york, an undead army killing and maiming.  We could wander over to creedy and make the ruins uninhabitable.  Or we could stalk the jungle, picking your members off one by one with our ghostly voices.  Then again perhaps you will see what is to come and give up all claim to Wiksik, disband and avert such a cataclysmic set of events...

You are trying to bluff with no cards, we cannot be controlled and nor will we.  The dead have a voice now, least you forget...

It's fine with me if you fail at life (in-game) , which apparently your previous post points out, but let it be known that you alone do not govern the mysteries of the spirit realm. The Coalition also bears its share of enlightened shamen, so believing that only your clan can harness the phantoms is foolish and shortsighted. Your clan has yet to show any sort of competence against the Coalition, so I'd can it until you have proven something.

Life?  No, I left life quite a while ago.  I left successful, the first to conceive the spirit strike and the first person to win rights for the dead.  Now I am learning about death, as one of the many undead on the island.  I have found myself to have many loyal spirit followers, indeed I actually have something to offer them unlike yourself.  Any spirit reading this will find that the have sanctuary in our spirit huts provided they conduct themselves responsibly and with decorum.  We offer rules to bind the living and the dead together as equals, neither one superior.

DLC, I was just about to congratulate you on your IC post, which I enjoyed and am preparing a response for... when you have to go make offensive accusations about Daigo.
