This thread is for RP and propaganda related services for the Greater Shartak Unification Coalition. Irrelevant/OOC posts will be duly deleted. So far, brief memoirs from yours truly. Any pro-native or anti-GSUC RP/sentiment should go in here or here.

Day 14: The Royal Court and its allies consisting of the Kingdom of Skulls, headhunters, necromancers, mercenaries and a myriad of Rakmogakis have been scattered and rerouted to the north. Raktam's supply bases are now sparsely populated as a result of the Coalition's relentless and calculated strikes. The Raktam Shaman, Najdam is felled by GSUC's rifles and blades every day, crippling the loyalists' home advantage. The walls and floors of the trading post, Throne Room and medicine hut are stained with crimson and reek of decay. What was once a thriving and bustling city of the North has now been reduced to a ghost town; jungle growth cascades the huts and the Raktam roads are strewn with the corpses of the Court's allies.

Venerable Sam, Commissar Lukas and the 1st Colonial Militia remain resilient as ever. Although the cannibals Great Khali and Grunk the Pale have temporarily taken control of Midway to showcase their primitive entertainment, this will not impede York's progress as a major power on the Island. The Machitty family is steadfast in securing Great Southall from the Creedy rebels; their unswerving loyalty and resourcefulness is to be commended. Although I do question Solemn's ethics and current motives, nothing can stop the Coalition in securing Great Southall in the Peninsula.

However, despite the recent successes, the Coalition's mission is far from over, yet. Even in the face of skeptics and double-faced critics we still remain firm and strong to the cause. From the ashes of corruption and tyranny in Raktam shall arise a new, pure replacement. My men have shown great tenacity in the face of innumerable odds. The hypocrites are disuniting and weakening. Raktam will be united, and so shall Shartak.

Day 20: The Royal Court's deluded loyalists and allies believe they have outlasted the Coalition. Our strike force of shamen, spirits and soldiers gave them a reality check in the what would otherwise be a mundane, stagnant Raktami afternoon. I received the following transcript shortly after being felled by a delusional cannibal. I must thank him for making my return to my home much faster.

G.S.U.C. has defeated Raktam's royalist forces on this day. We have ravaged their supply huts, decimated their regrouping power and have marched through their empty, blood-ridden dirtroads. What was sadder than their ragtag defences was the propaganda launched against the Coalition's success. By God, the royalists believed that their king was fighting alongside them in the jungle wilderness, even though in reality he was indulging in drink and debauchery in New York with his Anthorite allies! This further proves that as civilised people we must educate the ignorant, simpler races into gaining independence from their brainwashing tyrants.

My main force has pulled out of Raktam, but luckily for the royalists I have left a substantial garrison in the supply huts. My men marched into the streets of York, triumphant. The York townspeople greeted us with warm welcomes and hugs. Mothers embracing their sons and husbands. We have earned our period of respite and regeneration. For our next plan of action, we must prepare for the Battle of the Waterfall in December. Long live the Greater York Federation! Long live the outsider race! Long live civilisation!

Ah, Raoji, you are wise and ask a very intelligent question.  Unfortunately, I have seen some innocent Natives and Outsiders murdered for nothing more than where they happen to be standing.  I believe it's through these few errors in judgment that people come to believe we are actually attacking, or should be attacking Native villages, when nothing could be further from the truth.  We are attacking certain organized elements of the Native population and those that are their allies.  Please understand where I come from, these savages kill for ritual and even strip the flesh from Native and Outsiders to be eaten like jerky.

After the island has been unified under a single civilized rule of law there will no longer be a need to attack any village.  I understand that many of these savages will continue to practice their despicable deviant behaviors, however when they can not find sanctuary in their own villages, when their power bases have been smashed, when it's safe to travel and trade, that's when we all can say, We Won!

Following the aftermath of the Wiksik med hut raid...

The Nail In the Coffin

* De La Coiffe enters the Wiksik medicine hut and finds Golgul...

You say “Well, if it isn't the big-mouthed Golgul. You will be silenced.” in the native language.

You attack Golgul with a heavy sword for 5 damage. They die.

You say “Let it be known that on this day New York's citizens have been liberated from the tyrannical grip of the Kingdom of Skulls. Rejoice, for celebration is amongst us!” in the native language.

* De La Coiffe enters the Throne Room of Wiksik

You scratch out what was carved there before.
You carve Glory to the free state of New York! onto the wall in the native tongue.

De La Coiffe seats himself upon the Skull Throne, ponders about the near future and chuckles to himself.

Purifying the Taint

You say “...And now, the blood of the wicked will be cleansed...”

De La Coiffe pours a jug of rose water across the blood-stained floors of the Spirit Hut...

You hear Tracer let out a haunting scream coming from all around you. (2008-12-08 23:16) (many times)

You scratch out what was carved there before.
You carve The hut is full of ancient tomes. Light barely penetrates this place. The floor is doused with rose water. You take a whiff of the pleasant aroma. onto the wall in the native tongue.

You say “Foolish Creedy rebel spirit. Your allies are scattered, and soon a bright new era will encompass New York.”

Time Is Not On Your Side...

Shortly later, in the outskirts of Wiksik...

You say “Hey there Rex!”
You say “You still considering about HereComesPete?”
You attack Rex Feral with a knife for 2 damage. They die.
You say “Assassination - you're doing it wrong.”
You say “God, please forgive this poor soul. He is not conscious of his own wrongdoings.”
You dig a hole with your shovel.
De La Coiffe places the freshly slain corpse of Rex Feral into the shallow grave and makes a quick crucifix gesture.
You push some soil into the hole. The only sign of the hole is a freshly disturbed patch of ground.

Black Orient

I have made it to the Eastern Federation borders via the York-Derby roadway. Rested near the Derby shores during nightfall to prevent assassins and natives from tracing my steps. My heavy sword still retains a fresh paint of crimson after having tasted the flesh of the Dalpoki assassin, Mr. D. Despite all the propaganda spewed by our politcal native contemporaries, the Coalition still remains unyielding in its quest to unify the island, and we shall do so by aiding the ravaged people of the Eastern Federation, who are currently under attack by the Rakmogaki menace.

Upon my arrival into Eastern Federation lands, I observed that compared to my last trek, the once thriving farmlands of Derby had been reduced to rubble, a ghost town if you will, with naught a soul (aside from the occasional wild deer) breathing in the deathly terrain. Trudging from the Derbian shores, I came across a native; however, this was no ordinary ill-bred savage; his head was placed on equal par his shoulders, and his vile, corpulent frame reeked of decaying human flesh. I could only assume that this was the mastermind behind the
Rakmogaki Collective, a horryifying conglomerate of man-eaters, who according to native lore, are descended from a native tribe banished for angering the Ancients with their depraved customs (namely cannibalism). I made sure that this threat to the outsider lifestyle was dispatched as quickly as possible.

In the spirit of the dream of a Unified Shartak, so must there be a unification in combat style. As the stout cur arouse from his rest, even he was no match for my fusion of burning lead and cold steel. I dealt the killing blow as follows...

You attack Anthropophagi with a rifle for 5 damage. They die.

You say “You and your clan's reign of destruction will soon come to an end. Be prepared.” in the native language.

Word has it that a young aspiring cannibal has arouse from obscurity and assumed joint leadership of the Collective. What destiny has in store for his followers and the Greater Shartak Unification Coalition, I cannot entirely pinpoint, although in the meantime it will be enjoyable to sweep the Derbian jungles of these hulking wretches...

Black Orient, Day 2

Word has reached me of Comrade Stanley's death, but not at the hands of a cannibal, rather by a former Coalition ally by the name of Robert Surcouf. Him and I share a common ancestry, but that is where our similarities end. The Baron and I have communicated to each other on a few number of occasions in regards to French festivities, but he, like many other so-called 'outsiders', revealed himself as yet another incompetent lacking the will to stand up to native expansionism. After hours of searching, I eventually found the dastard taking respite in the middle of the Eastern jungles, in an obvious attempt to flee from the scene of his crime. "Is there not a believing soul who will resist uncivilised oppression?" I asked myself before dealing the killing blow to the heretic...

You say “Sleep with the dogs, die like one. And to think I once called you my brother.”

You attack Baron Robert Surcouf with a heavy sword for 5 damage. They die.

You say “Even I cannot let heretics rot in the sunlight.”

You dig a hole with your shovel.

De La Coiffe gets hold of the mangled corpse and shoves it down the shallow grave.

You push some soil into the hole. The only sign of the hole is a freshly disturbed patch of ground.

"There can be no mercy for the savage, the heretic and the coward." The stern words of the venerable Lukas Alexander still echo in my ears, and on this day I have realised that tenet. Word has reached me of a charitable saint donned in red, located in a faraway grotto who hands out material goods to those he has deemed favourable to humanity, but the current task at hand to aid the Eastern Federation in its darkest hour is far more urgent, and certainly much more important than acquainting ourselves with the rumoured altruist. Perhaps next year, when native hostilities are further curbed, we will make the pilgrimage to this fabled philanthropist.
I remind my men that the dream for unification will not end with the death of any one of us, but only when every single soul on the island ceases to believe in this cause. As long as we are resolute and sound of body and mind, nothing will stop the Coalition from realising its dream of a Greater, Unified Shartak.

I was going to kill one savage for each of the twelve days of Christmas this year, kinda as my gift to Christianity on the island...  However, I have changed my mind, this year I intend to kill 12 savages, one for each of the twelve days of Christmas, but I'm going to do it for you.

After reading your account of what transpired, I could feel the conflict you endured and by focusing on duty and honor you were able to kill a former friend.

By showing us your heart you have also showed your soul and that's just beautiful.  You make me proud to be an Outsider.. We do have souls and that's something these filthy heathen savages will never have.

Lastly, it is common fact that savages even eat their own.  The Baron would have been discovered by one of these heathens, killed and probably eaten.  Being honor bound you have shown him mercy which is more than he would have got if the savages had found him first.
