Trying to promote/help a friend:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/donovanbrooks/donovan-launches-his-debut-album

Above link is to the project to put out his first album. I think only the intro video is available to those who havent donated, but if  you are a "backer" there is some actually nice stuff on there.

Some of that can also be heard on the link below that is his Main website.

http://www.donovanbrooks.com/fr_home.cfm

Please check it out and Help if you can! (Or pass to others who could, etc)

Yes this may be shameless advertising, but I AM listening to it all alot...so it DOES count and fit here. Cheesy

You probably couldn't guess where the creator of disco is from or what was acceptable thirty years ago.

Sometimes it's nice when friends with benefits show interest in who you're macking.

Which reminds me of Berlin, where my favourite slums are (Paris is dangerous and not as fun once you've exhausted the tourist traps in short order) as well as where I often listen to stuff like this (it makes more sense in German).

Reminding me of healthy, cynical attitudes and delicious currywurst.

Is this a theme? Is this stylised awesomeness?

Ordinary life: the source of all happiness?

It's not as creepy as that promo on PBS. You know the one.

Slagsmålsklubben is an excellent source of blippy joy for punctuating anything.
