La Famiglia di Machetti is proud to announce that the Club Palermo is opening tomorrow for business.
It is an establishment for the appeasement of ones appetite, for the enjoyment of quality entertainment, and for your well-deserved relaxation.

Location:
Club Palermo is located at [-70.652,+26.340].
It is a short walk South from the Medical Hut; a short distance South and West from the Shaman. Or you can follow the signs.

A little local History:
The location was once the site of the Headquarters of the Durham Pistoleers. After many months of disuse saw the building fall into ruin, La Famiglia di Machetti invested considerable resources into the building's renovation. Rotting wooden structural walls were knocked out, and a new brick building took its place. Lockers were ripped out and a bar was constructed. Posters were torn off, and fine oak paneling was installed. Rats were poisoned, cockroaches killed, and the ivy was torn out. The new building now combines architectural elements of the island with design elements from the old country; Sicily meeting Shartak. The Club Palermo was born.

Well, I just went there, and I must say the place is gorgeous. But I dunno about being a comedian. They only make $20,000/yr.

I can't wait to see what the Machittys have to say about this.

Moltto grazie for inviting mi famiglia. It'sa nice-a place. We hope that all goes well on opening night. I'ma thinking that we could also discuss future business plans on the grand opening, si? Once Simon teaches us all horticultural skills, we gonna start a vino business. We already make samples. Joe Dolce say he love it. Joe Dolce a good singer, so his opinions should be held in esteem.

York was going to have a fight club. However lack of fighters meant that York couldn't host it's fight club. One day we hope that people can take their aggression out on each other in live form for spectators.

Let the violence be for entertainment and not hate.

A fine idea Anthony.

The Club is open.

Joe Dolce has been asked to perform in the evening, Aragosta is being boiled, and Matey CyAdora has drank the last of the spiced rum.

The bar is serving Gelato and Milkplus free with every meal, Joe Dolce has been playing his banjo to the delight of the patrons (and to the distress of the spiriti who protested loudly, and have left without paying the bill), and the lovely Lucrezia Borgia has been gracing the club with her beautiful voice.

Since your last move:

Hiro Protagonist says “Bartender, I don't suppose you happen to know the recipe for coca-cola?” (2008-11-10 04:53)
Hiro Protagonist says “No? Oh well.” (2008-11-10 04:54)
Hiro Protagonist reads the menu. "No pizza?" (2008-11-10 04:54)

You say “I suspect we shall rely upon you, amico mio, for that eh? Coca-Cola, eh? Well, that is made with that plant from the mainland, and some sugar-water, si? We only have fungi, here. Although I am looking”
You say “to find someone who will provide me with some of that. It seems to be a good ingrediant for some Milk(plus) with some extra ardore. Now, how about a bottiglia di birra? On the house.”

You give a bottle of beer to Hiro Protagonist.

Hiro Protagonist says “Merci! Thanks for the drink Mr Machetti.” (2008-11-10 09:32)

Lucrezia Borgia walks to the stage and quietly picks up the mic, holding it lovingly with two hands very close to her mouth... (2008-11-10 10:41)
Lucrezia Borgia says “Marco, he spoke to me last night in my dreams... this is for him, wherever he may be...” (2008-11-10 10:41)
Lucrezia Borgia says “queue up the music Anthony, you know the one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DXCHa9BYfE” (2008-11-10 10:42)
Lucrezia Borgia says “So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skys from pain.” (2008-11-10 10:43)
Lucrezia Borgia says “Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell?” (2008-11-10 10:43)
Lucrezia Borgia says “And did they get you to trade Your heros for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze?” (2008-11-10 10:44)
Lucrezia Borgia says “Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange A walk on part in the war For a lead role in a cage?” (2008-11-10 10:44)
Lucrezia Borgia says “How I wish, how I wish you were here. We’re just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year,” (2008-11-10 10:44)
Lucrezia Borgia says “Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.” (2008-11-10 10:44)
Lucrezia Borgia says “/wipes a tear from her eye and replaces the mic to the stand before quietly retiring to the darkened, back of the theatre.” (2008-11-10 10:46)
Lucrezia Borgia says “ non c'è bisogno di preoccuparsi, non ho nessuna voglia di vederlo .” (2008-11-10 11:11)

Betwixt says “Greetings, Anthony. It's a pleasure to be here." looks around cautiously "I was waiting outside just incase there were any ghosts lurking around, but since you're here, i guess there aren't.” (2008-11-10 12:58)

You say “A touching performance, Signorina. Very beautiful. And Betwixt! Benvenuto! Here, try this drink, it is very good for the brain and for the, eh, stamina.”

You give a bottle of mango juice to Betwixt.

Since your last move: (Two romantic songs are sung, two toasts are made to Marco Machetti's memory, and many drinks are had.)

Betwixt says “Thanks Anthony. Bottoms up.”

Hiram Israel Oates says “What's on tap?”

You say “Enjoy, Signor Betwixt! We have birra, Juice of all sorts, acqua, rum, grappa, many beverages. And food as well - Sicilian cooking. ”
You say “And Maria! Bentornata! You could not have come at a better time, sorellastra!”

Hiram Israel Oates says “I'll take some juice. How much?”

Betwixt says “Well, I'm off to attend to some buisness at the trading post. I'll be back soon.”
Betwixt says “I'm back. Got some coin too.”

You say “1 gold coin for banana and mango juice, 2 gold coins for berry juice. Say, Iron Man, you've been here a while; what would you like?”

Lucrezia Borgia raises from her chair and moves to the lit stage.
Lucrezia Borgia nods to Anthony, as he queues up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snm1JOQD8Ls

Lucrezia Borgia says “Fire in your eyes, the promise of true love and protection. But in your mind, necessity of getting your way. Tradition disguised, suspicion and lies”
“Selfish desire, you're looking for maternal perfection. Oh what a shame, its something you can't get on your own and you need my absolution for the sins you can't confess”
“Sing low so no one hears you and sing high making me cry, I hear something when wrapped in your arms an Italian song of love”
“Who can resist a show of such apparent devotion ? Could there exist a love of such unfaultering strength?”
“Convinced of a dream, denying a scheme and you need my absolution for the sins you won't confess”
“Sing low so no one hears you and sing high making me cry”
“I hear something when wrapped in your arms”
“An Italian song of love”
“Sing low help me remember how you loved making me cry. Now I hear only echoes and whispers. These echoes and whispers, an Italian song of love”
“Sing low so no one hears you and sing high (let me sing it high) making me cry (making me cry), I hear something when wrapped in your arms (I feel it in your arms), an Italian love song”
“Sing low (sing low) help me remember how you loved making me cry. Now I hear only echoes and whispers (echoes and whispers). These echoes and whispers.”
 “An Italian song of love.”
 “An Italian song of love.”
“An Italian song of love. *is barely heard as she leaves the stage. She has a glint in her eye as she passes you and smiles.”

Lucrezia Borgia whispers to Hiro Protagonist on her way to the bar, but you can not make out the exact words. He grins and blushes for a moment as she glides by him.

Lucrezia Borgia says “Anthony, we need a glass of vino. I have to make a toast. ”
Lucrezia Borgia watches Anthony distribute the glasses and everyone turn to face her.
Lucrezia Borgia raises her glass and with a tear in her eye says. "we drink for Marco tonight, for he is gone. That was not a dream I had. He came to me to say goodbye, one final time."
Lucrezia Borgia finishes her glass, gulping it down, a few drops running from the corners of her mouth.
Lucrezia Borgia says “ Marco said he was in a better place, that he had no regrets, just that he missed and loved his family very much," to Anthony.”

Lucrezia Borgia grabs the bottle from Anthony and takes herself, her glass and her bottle over to the smoking den in the back and falls onto a leather couch.
Lucrezia Borgia calls out "does anyone have a light, please?"
Lucrezia Borgia gives you 10 gold coins.

Hiram Israel Oates gives you 2 gold coins.
Hiram Israel Oates says “Some berry juice, my good man.”

You give a bottle of berry juice to Hiram Israel Oates.
You say “And I must say, I hope that isn't made from the wrong berries...Signorina, it was beautiful. I think of Marco often, myself. Many of La Famiglia's decisions are still influenced by his memory.”

Anthony Machetti watches Lucrezia Borgia pour herself more wine. He raises an eyebrow.
You say “Eh...I would not be a responsible host if I were not to advise you to drink responsabilmente, Signorina. We do not want to have to call a porter to carry you home...”

Anthony Machetti raises a glass of Grappa.
You say “To the late Marco Machetti, who had the motivation of Garibaldi, the mind of Machiavelli, and the charm of Don Giovanni! May his spirit watch over our business forever more!”

You say “Signor Dolce, you do not mind if I use your beautiful instrument for a song, do you? Grazie infinite!”

Anthony Machetti steps up the stage, and strums the banjo a bit before clearing his throat and starting up the tune. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Ksemf46mJqA

You say “Brucia la luna n'cielu E ju bruciu d'amuri, Focu ca si consuma Comu lu me cori, L'anima chianci, Addulurata, Non si da paci; Ma cchi mala nuttata. Lu tempu passa, Ma non agghiorna, Non c'e mai suli”
“S'idda non torna. Brucia la terra mia E abbrucia lu me cori, Cchi siti d'acqua idda - E ju siti d'amuri. Acu la cantu La me canzuni, Si no c'e nuddu Ca s'a affacia A lu barcuni?”
Anthony Machetti stops singing and just plays the melody for a short while.
“Brucia la luna n'cielu, E ju bruciu d'amuri - Focu ca si consuma Comu lu me cori!”
Anthony Machetti draws out the last notes of the song, and finishes.

Anthony Machetti hands Joe Dolce his banjo back, and takes a bow.

Betwixt says “Greatest of thanks, Signor Anthony.”
Betwixt says “Here. Take this.”
Betwixt gives you 20 gold coins.
Betwixt says “Just a small token of my appreciation.”

Jack Bauer says “Thanks for the mango that was very nice”
