Are you a pirate or a pirate sympathizer? Are you tired of pirates being portrayed as thugs with no manners or class whatsoever? Do you have a personal code of honour when it comes to attacking or killing outsiders? (The natives' wicked souls be damned!) Can you speak a full sentence without saying, "arrr, matey"? Then the Gentleman Pirate Society may be for you!

You (Maevar Ralnik) have successfully joined the clan - The Gentleman Pirate Society

Been waiting for this for a long, long time. Have you got a forum or anything?

Excellent.

Regarding the forum, I don't have one as yet, but creating a forum or a sub-forum on an existing message board is a very good idea.

I'd offer space on the MG forum but I doubt the mercs would like the clutter. Then again, I could make it so they couldn't see it.

If you're interested I could work something out to split the MG forum in half with minor clutter for either sides - and if your clan grows big enough you can split it off to another forum.

Still a maybe, though, I'd have to ask Tom and HVLD.

I've joined it.

It's appalling that settlers only think we drink rum and pillage at will.

Yes we pillage and get drunk but we do so with a code of conduct.

If belching, one must cover one's mouth full of rottiing teeth.

Oh, you Errol Flynns. You'll be the death of us yet.

The flight was heavenly
the sky my ocean
As I soared beyond the clouds
and golden voices called me home
You asked "Do you believe in love?"
and I shook my head
So, your sins unto me as I fall down
never to return from this land
My wings are clipped, my voice stilled,
Goodbye.

Do you accept Privateer members?

And my brother will probably join you at some point, his grammar has gotten better since he wrecked on Shartak.

Tsk, one joins, only to find that they let any riff-raff in! Cest la vie.  Tongue

Raffles almost certainly wears womens' hosiery and went to Corpus Christi. I don't believe you can get much more refined than that.
