We natives are blessed with the ability to ensure that our medicine huts are free of all but the most stealthy of spirits - ensuring the safety of those who seek to replenish their herb supplies.

But outsider huts are plagued with spiritual behaviour. York less so - it's prominent position on the island means that native shamans are on hand to keep the medicine hut clear. But Derby and Durham - on outreached sections - are areas not often visited by natives as a constant out flux of outsiders means that anyone venturing inward are the recipients of frequent attacks.

As such, their huts are less than safe. Durham hut has at present 3 haunting spirits and more on tap nearby. Deaths are frequent (unless some kind soul ensures that the incoming wounded are healed swiftly).

Will anyone take up the gauntlet and offer the olive branch of peace, purging these huts of the evil dead?

The rewards? Outsider recognition and safe passage from those who acknowledge your good deeds...

Take plenty of cat food.

Or ensure that you pick up lots of parrots on the way!

Any suggestions for a route from Raktam? Even just general direction to travel?

Sidenote: I have no GPS or the like.

That would be quite convenient...Any means of direction would be.

Most likely so, but I'm desperate for aid.

It should be known that the only thing Im not intrested in murdering is a kitten. I find kitten's to be rather cute. Safe from the torso reaping, they are!

(Yes, I do like torsos. So far, every post I've had on this new forum has had a mention of torsos.)

and golden voices called me home
You asked "Do you believe in love?"
and I shook my head
So, your sins unto me as I fall down
never to return from this land
My wings are clipped, my voice stilled,
Goodbye.

This I've noticed, Keiichi. Atleast you'll have something recognisable...

I appreciate your sparing of kitties.

My torso is difficult to distinguish for a human-killer anyways.

You might be able to carve a tree trunk into the rough shape of one... Huh?

I lack a knife! As well, I think a heavy sword would be rather difficult to carve anything. Except for human torsos. (Yes! I can mention torsos everywhere!)
