In response to Mr RM's post (above) I have decided that the 'D', formerly owned be the settlement of 'erby, will be offered for sale at auction.

The 'D' is 10 feet tall and made from a solid gold-coloured metal. It will surely make a wonderful conversation piece/religious idol. Laid on its side and propped up on tree stumps it can also function as an improvised bar.

Bidding will end at midday on Wednesday 5th November. Genuine offers only. Buyer collects or pays postage.

If a buyer is not found for this item, it will be towed out into deep water where it will become a habitat for coral and small fish, known henceforth as Bellamy Reef.

Highly suspicious of this matter from the beginning of Bellamy's self-made authority concerning 'Erby's D, I set off to 'Erby to take a sample of the D for chemical analysis in my lab.
What I had discovered is that the D that is in Bellamy's possession is not authentic at all!

I chiseled a small sample of said consonant, and noticed that after chipping off the half inch layer counterfeit gold-paint, another material was revealed. Shocking!
The D consists mainly of the countless discarded First Aid Kit containers scattered around Derby. I was wondering who had cleaned them up.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT partake in this deceptive sham of a business transaction.

The whereabouts of the true D of 'Erby are as of yet unknown.
Any leads would be much appreciated.

I'm willing to bid 81 GC for it. Not sure which of my characters will buy it yet (either of them could probably find a use for it... not sure quite what but whatever...) but I think I'll just have them each bid the same amount and, if I win, decide which one wins later on...
