Because of real life, I will soon leave as editor of the native magazine Jungle Drums, which will make an important position empty.
I have already asked if anyone from our team would like to take the job, but unfortunately nobody accepted.
For this reason I am asking if someone from outside the magazine wants to become the new editor.
After all, I also didn't have too much experience when I got the job.

If no one takes over, then I'll be forced to put the Jungle Drums in an inactive state, or even shut it completely down, which is something I really wouldn't like to do.

There are not much requirements to become the editor; all you need is:
-To be a native, obviously.
-A bit of knowledge about native politics.
You don't have to know a lot, you just need to know the basic things, like that the Royal Court is in Raktam, pirates always try to attack Dalpok, etc.
-The ability to treat all articles equally, no matter what your personal opinion is.
If an article is poorly written or contains misinformation, then you can, and should, discard it, of course.

Your job is also quite simple: Reunite articles, check them, place them on a Wiki page, and keep writers informed.
It might not sound like fun, but it surely is

If you're interested, then please post here or PM me with a link to your character's profile.

I do? Cool.

This means I'll have to get more involved in this game, doesn't it?

Eh...I can do that.

Yes, although you decide the exact amount of time.

You can just be someone who reunites articles, writes to journalists once in a while and who reads only the most popular threads in the native section from time to time (I was pretty much like that ).
Or, if you'd want, you could read all the political threads and even write about them, like former Derby Evening Press editor James Barnes.

It's up to you

You will probably not have to read those many extremely long and dramatic outsider threads, though, simply because natives don't care about which outsider killed which outsider for whatever crazy reason.
The Jungle Drums doesn't go very fast, so I believe you won't have to spend much of your time on it unless you actually want to.

Anyway, if you don't want to get more involved in this game I can understand that, as that's basically the reason I'm leaving.

What is the ideal frequency (or typical periodicity) for issue-releases, given the newsletter experience so far?

 Huh?

I don't think there is one. Jungle Drums ran for only one issue, I believe.

Amonu pee Kinjo Kukutongani ?

I guess I should have been more clear.

How often at most-often do any of the peridoicals get released? (...be it Jungle Drums, York Times, Derby Evening Press, others...)

For the next issue of Jungle Drums, I might have some narratives to submit -- if The Fool, or any staff would kindly speak with me about involvement. I'd be honored.

Hahhaha...  As mama used to say: Engira Endea Ayera Akinyi!  Cheesy
