You know there is a "Preview" button right next to the "Post" button. It shows you exactly what your post will look like but doesn't actually post it.

I know. Odd thing is that another forum I set up has problems with showing pound signs even though as far as I can see the configs are the same. Wasn't sure if it'd change between posting and viewing...
