It has seemed to me after long observation, that the only particular difference between the candidates are race and gender. Why favor Obama just because he's black? Is it that hip to be black? What about the first woman president, isn't that worth anything.

Well, that's self-defeating logic.  First black president is no greater than first woman, true, but the reverse is no less true.

Besides, Obama wins serious charisma points in a way that Hillary doesn't.  I could go more nitpicky about the differences, but that's the big one.

While they have similar viewpoints on most domestic issues such as healthcare, education and energy, they differ on things like privacy rights, foreign policy and just plain personality.

I don't favor one candidate over another because of race or gender. Neither should be worth anything.
