I'd rather see Obama as president, but that just isn't happening, if he gets the democratic ticket than a republican will be president.
So I want Clinton to win the ticket

I see Obama winning the ticket, and Clinton running anyways, splitting the party, and causing a republican to win regardless..

Amusingly, I've seen the exact opposite stated. #1: Democrats, who would be prepared to support Obama, but who would vote Republican to keep Hillary (and Bill) out of office. #2: Poll results that show Obama beating McCain if they're the candidates, and if it's Hillary and McCain, McCain beating Hillary.

Why don't you feel Obama is electable?

Why don't you feel Obama is electable?
Because he's black. All the fancy polls in the world can be made, but the fact is the majority of people are stupid. Clinton would win because she's a woman. Women make up over 50% of the American population and historically vote more than men. And the undecided stupid women with no real interest in politics (the majority) will pick the women. Obama won't because Blacks make up 13% of the US population, and of that probably half or less vote. So while he'd be guaranteed that block, it isn't big enough to offset the stupid whites who would automatically vote for the white guy
The reason the political analysts don't pick up on this is because they're focusing on the politically-aware people that've historically been voters. But with the recent "get out and vote" campaigns and voting being hip, these historical voters will be the minority, overshadowed by hordes of stupid, thoughtless people.

Blah, I think that what you've said is true. I believe not many people will take the time to actually research each candidate, and that they'll simply vote for whoever "looks" like a good president to them.

For the record, I went to the Washington Caucus yesterday, and everyone in my precinct voted for Obama. Total people of different ethnicities other than white= 0

I'm reminded of a cartoon I saw last week, a news reporter interviewing a black woman, and asking her if she'd vote for Hillary because she's a woman, or Barrack because she's black. Her response was yes, she should forget what their policies were, her choice was so much simpler wasn't it (heavy sarcasm implied).

I'm voting Obama because he looks more likely to play a round of Guitar Hero III and not support a total ban on violent video games. (at least when put next to Hillary)
Plus, I think Mrs. Clinton cries too much to make a strong international leader.
Lastly, Bill Clinton has had enough intern sex in the Oval Office for one lifetime.
Really I have 2 real reasons for voting for him, but I'll keep them to myself.

I dont think I'd vote for either of them, even if I could. Obama seems to be trying to grab the youth vote and Hillary, well, she's just weird.
