Ok this is intended to give a recommended way of writing out your suggestion when posting it here. This will make it easier for others to understand your suggestion and comment on it.
Thread Title: Try to make your title short and to the point e.g. Hiding in trees/Changes to trading
Short outline of your suggestion: This is a couple of lines giving more of an idea what your suggestion will do e.g. A new item/set of skills/game mechanism that will allow people to etc.
More detailed information on your suggestion: This is where you really pad out yor idea. Try to include everything you can think of about it. If it's a new skill then who is it availble to? Exactly what does it do? If it's a new item then where is it found? How often does it break? Does it have any negative effects?
Why it should be implemented: This is where you explain why your idea should get implemented. Maybe it will add a new feature and gameplay direction that doesn't exsist yet. Or maybe it fixes a current problem with gameplay.
Possible problems: If you're suggesting a new idea you probably don't want to point out the things that are wrong with it. But doing so could help others think of solutions that you hadn't thought of.
Similar suggestions: When posting a new idea please be aware that many things have been suggested before in a slightly different guise each time. If you can then provide links to previous suggestions that are similar and explain how yours differs. Sometimes this may be a different set of %'s or a different solution to the same problem.
Also please read some of the most frequently suggested ideas threads to check that your not posting something that's exactly the same as something that has already been shown to be unpopular.
You can also check in the Shartak wiki for other suggestions, as well as other information. The wiki can be found by clicking

Also, when thinking of a suggestion remember to KISS.
Keep
It
Simple
Stupid
A comlicated suggestion is not only less likely to be implemented but may cause unnecessary confusion. The simple answer is often the best.
Historically (from Shartak's point of view), the suggestions that get implemented are almost always the short, easy, and simple ones that provide a simple and clear benefit. Stuff like this (with no obvious benefit) generally gets a little talk about potential interest, a few arguments about realism (what is and what isn't), maybe a few quibbles about how it MIGHT be implemented and eventually gets ignored by Simon.
About responding to suggestionsPeople's opinions are always welcome whenever a new suggestion is posted so people (Simon included probably) can guage how something is received by the general population of Shartak. However when posting your opinion make sure you think through what you want to say a bit before posting. It's very easy to say "I hate this" but it's not very helpful. If you post your reasons for disliking it then maybe it will help people come up with solutions to those problems.
This post is not set in stone, it can be changed if necessary. Post here if you have anything to add or there's something you're not happy with.
