It was only a matter of time before my compass actually does anything right. Today I finally found Wiksik.. marveled at the sound village integrity (Their med hut is adjacent to their weapons hut? Brilliant!), and I even got a chance to enjoy the locals, by killing Um Bongo till dead.

This is a proud day for me..

I felt that way when I found Dalpok. It took forever, but I was finally in a place other than York.

The flight was heavenly
the sky my ocean
As I soared beyond the clouds
and golden voices called me home
You asked "Do you believe in love?"
and I shook my head
So, your sins unto me as I fall down
never to return from this land
My wings are clipped, my voice stilled,
Goodbye.

I noticed you finally found Wiksik when I logged in!

I would've congratulated you, but you let as suddenly as you came

This is a proud day for me..

Given the speed at which you ran away from Skull Face, I'm surprised it took you so long to find Wiksik Kiss

I must confess that I agonised long and hard about pursuing you. I prefer unique heads rather than repeat kills.

Oh, I noticed your little joke, healed and fled before you had the chance to nail me. I'm no where near wiksik, and am heading for York as we speak. Can't stop, and there's an orc I have words with. I move like the wind..

Zombie powder, not just for muffins anymore!

Killing is the process, dead is the result.

"I was building my house until it was built."
"I enjoyed my muffins by eating them until they were all eaten."
"I strangled him until he was dead."
"I poured water out of the goblet until it had all been poured."
"I was (in the process of) killing him until he finally died."
"I even got a chance to enjoy the locals, by killing Um Bongo 'til dead."
"I even got a chance to enjoy the locals, by healing Um Bongo 'til healed.

"I was killing him, but then you interrupted me!"
"This time, I killed him before you had the chance to interrupt me."
"I would try killing him again, but I already killed him, so I can't kill him anymore."
"Can I kill you instead?"
"Ask a Ninja!"

None of those examples sound right, though....

Yeah, most of them sound stupid. I don't think they're grammatically incorrect, though. (%$$#, where's a grammar book when you need one?!)

Let's see if I can make better examples.

You can't. He didn't say he killed him until he was dead, but that he was killing him until he was dead.

"Stop! You're killing me! I don't want to die!" <-makes sense
"Stop! You killed me! I don't want to die!" <- does not make sense (well, in a game it might, but not in real life, anyway)

I've found it rather convenient, too. It reduces the time it takes to stock up on supplies, and makes them easier to find. Move the trade hut next door and I'm set.

They have that in Raktam too, actually. Are there any other cases like this?

That requires me to stay alive in Raktam to find out
