In the land of Borem, human aristocrats rule everything. Races other than that of mankind are shunned and often beaten up by the police. Halfbreeds fair slightly better in the big cities, but those who pay attention can pick a Half-Elf or Half-Dwarf out of the crowd and have them thrown out of the city.

The capital of Borem is Hafalbetas, an ancient city built by the first humans to set foot in the homeland of the Draconians. You will meet a lot of odd faces in the city, as interbreeding is not shunned within humans, and is sometimes encouraged. But things have changed from bad to worse for the humans. A horrible plague has been beset upon the vile mankind, and as the aristocrats flee for their safety, the city has been opening up to other races to help combat this epidemic. The Immortal Elves help heal the sick, and the Majestic Dwarves use their top notch technology and medicine to bring those to far gone for the elves back to life. You arrive at the Red Drake Inn, a small, seedy tavern in the middle of the poor district. As you open the doors, a large burly human stops you, before noticing your race and lets you pass. Several other Non-Humans inhabit the Inn, as this is one of the few places that harbor those other than humans. You came here to combat the plague, but little did you know something more sinister is at foot...

I will start things off:

1 Scimitar
1 Leather Breatplate
5 Healing Herb
25 Gold
Street Clothes
Elf
Wood Elf
Druid

Sylvanos Windstride walked into the only tavern in the area. The Red Drake Inn, these humans called it. So unoriginal...

The Magical Plague on the humans could be cured, although no one exactly wanted to. Only a few in the world cared for these vile creatures, Sylvanos being on of them. They were disguisting, immoral, greedy, and horribly ugly. Sylvanos was a member of The Woodland Order, a group who beileved in healing the sick and helping the poor... but these humans didn't deserve anything! Stepping inside the tavern, a burly man let Sylvanos pass, and he saw utter chaos. Tables overturned, people dead, and several drunks staggering out of the building.

"It be th' best tavern in th' area" said the burly man.

"It will have to do I suppose" said Sylvanos

Setting an overturned chair back on its legs, Sylvanos sat down at one of the few tables that were not overturned. He sat there, waiting for others to appear, for this place would be booked soon.

1 Staff
1 Ivory bracer
5 Healing Herbs
25 gold
Elf
Dark Elf
Class: Priest

(Hope the does well.)

Adin Tel Barri'mtor sat moodily in the corner of the tavern, trying to ignore the filthy humans. Nothing more digusted him then the uneducated beings who saw it fit to call themselves more than a lesser race. Adin's hand clutched at the staff he kept at his side, his eyes darting from person to person, trying to gauge exactly what danger they could pose. Adin Tel Barri'mtor was a priest for the Brotherhood of Darkness, a collection of warriors and priests that dedicated their life to the spreading of chaos and death, something Adin considered a grand gift to the world.

A glass of wine was clutched lightly in one hand, he brought it to his mouth with a look of distaste to everybody else in the tavern. He hated humans, to be sure, but the tavern offered something he loved: a taste of blood and disorder.

Sylvanos looked around once more. He noticed another elf in the corner of the building. It wasn't just any elf, it was a Dark Elf, the vile and generally rude sect of his race. Wood Elves were known for being peaceful yet ruthless when it came to defending their home. He could tell by the clothing on the Dark Elf that he was a priest, which was odd for a dark elf. They were generally good at magic involving death, but a priest was not a creature of death, but of light.

Pondering this, he failed to notice a group of human's enter the room. They were typical thugs, armed with clubs and knives. They eyed the elves with distaste.

"Elves in th' Drake Inn... it be maddness!" shouted the leader.

The four thugs drew their weapons and went towards the elves.

"You fools..." muttered Sylvanos.

Drawing his Scimitar, he parried one and punched the other in the gut. He prepared to kill any and all of the thugs that got in his way.

Adin stood up and gracefully swung his staff in an upward arc, his staff thudding into the throat of one of the attackers. He brought the staff about midway up into the air, in a defensive stance.

"Come so I may claim your life, filthy swine!" He smiled at the attackers, his eyes shining bright with something that could only be described as a sort of wild excitement.

"No need to affiliate us with such vermin master Dwarf" shouted Sylvanos.

Sylvanos hit the fifth thug in the stomach, then tied him up in the corner. He lay their, quivering, not knowing what his fate is going to be.

Sitting back down, Sylvanos eyed the other two in the tavern, besides the humans. He had figured he would have been the only one out here. The others had called him crazy, but the plague couldn't effect anyone but Humans... although when they bleed on you it can be difficult to get the stains out.

The final thug tried to leave, but the Burly Man quickly punched him in the face and he fell on the floor.

"Won't be botherin' us now" he said, with a near toothless grin on his face.

Adin scowled, a mountain dwarf and a wood elf, he thought, guess I'll just have to make due with what resources I have. Carefully stepping over a fallen human, he makes his way of to the wood elf and smiles very slightly, the tips of his teeth, or rather fangs, showing. "Good evening, sir. I am Adin Tel Barri'mtor, and I must say it is a relief to see another elf around."

Adin's eyes shifted to the mountain dwarf. "And slightly dismayed to see that filthy creature."

"Been looking in the mirrors lately, then, eh?" Martti heckled and wiped his falchion clean to one sods jacket. "I haven't got a problem with ye, so ye can leave yer insults home."

"I expected nothing less from a vile little wart like you."

His eyes shone brightly with a sort of feral light.

"Well I wasn't going to start fighting him, but I'll defend myself, and even you, wood elf, can't stop me" Martti stated and sheathed his blade.

"Very well... The plague here was created somewhere or by someone, and we need to figure out where. We can either stay here and bicker, or we can try and fix this problem. I don't want to help the humans any more than you do, but i've been tasked with the job, and I must do it.
